Jyorden Misra

Jyorden Misra is a founding member and Managing Director of Spearhead InterSearch, a specialized Executive Search Consulting Firm, focused on senior executive and Board level hiring. Incorporated in 1997 with its headquarters in New Delhi, the Firm represents InterSearch Worldwide in India through its presence in 4 metro cities across the country.

In his current role, Jyorden is responsible for driving the Firm’s strategic direction, business growth and managing key client relationships. He leads critical assignments for Board of Directors and CEO searches as well as mandates impacting any corporate governance arena. He also serves in the 5 member Global Management Board of InterSearch WorldWide, a leading international Executive Search and Advisory Consulting organization incorporated in the UK in 1989.

His Search Consulting experience spans over two decades covering multinational, regional, and domestic clients in the Engineering/Industrial, Energy, Automotive, Consumer, Lifesciences, Social Impact/Development, Public Policy & Government Affairs, ICT sectors and across the Innovation and R&D space. He discerns nuances influencing success and advises clients on the design and deployment of their executive leadership team and Board Hiring strategy.  Capabilities and qualities of leaders define the culture and success of client organizations. Distinguishing leaders in highly demanding global environments, where volatility and unpredictable complexities frequently abound, is the core value proposition transferred to client beneficiaries from his diverse experience.

Jyorden has been closely connected with the emergence and development of the ‘executive search’ industry in the subcontinent, as he was part of a leading global search firm’s transition team, which had a pioneering role in bringing the concept of ‘Search’ into the country.

Prior to entering the world of Executive Search, he was with the International Division of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the premier industry association body of India which represents over 3000 corporations, facilitating top-level business both domestically and internationally. Promoting corporate, cultural and political interface between India and North America was his primary responsibility in this multi-functional role. Some major projects managed by him were jointly developed with the Harvard Business School and the University of Michigan.

He holds a Master’s degree from Delhi University (St. Stephens College) and is an Alumnus of the historic Chief’s College, Mayo College, Ajmer.
