Executive consultants and managers of InterSearch Worldwide Europe Northwest + Middle East & Africa Region met end of 2019 in Frankfurt to optimize international communication in an increasingly challenging candidate market, to exchange and compare trends and industry insights.

Nevertheless, the trend towards a challenging candidate’s market persists: “It requires good arguments the identification of essential added value for the candidate to motivate him or her to make a change in their career path” emphasizes Wilhelm. “In addition to the corporate philosophy, the working atmosphere, professional content and flexible working hours, the salary range also plays a major role today. As well as aspects such as the company image and attractiveness of the individual brands and companies.”

Despite favourable local market conditions, experience shows that searches have their price. Here, InterSearch Worldwide remains firmly established as one of the market leaders in the area of ​​cross-border executive search thanks to the high transparency in the search processes and the candidates’ assessment carried out in many cases underpin this quality.

Within the ENW + MEA region Italy, Belgium and Germany are currently in the top three countries initiating cross-border projects. In 2017, 2018 and 2019  FMCG, Automotive, Industrial and Technology sectors were the strongest market segments for InterSearch Worldwide, followed by Life sciences, Infrastructure & transportation, Energy and Financial Services.
