We are pleased to announce that InterSearch Norway and Beyonder have signed an exclusivity agreement for the recruitment of new permanent staff, and in delivering strategic HR services in the establishment of Beyonder’s organisational structure.
Beyonder is planning to build a new Research and Development factory
Beyonder, a Stavanger based battery technology company, is planning to build a new R&D factory in the region, to start commercially introducing its products to the market. As a result, the company will more than double its number of employees in 2020.
Beyonder – a Norwegian energy tech company – has developed a patented highly transformative and sustainable “activated carbon production technology” to be used commercially in producing the next generation of supercapacitors and Li-ion capacitors for the heavy-duty industry sector. With the introduction of this new advancement, Beyonder has found a solution to issues critical to the industry, especially within renewable energy grids, transportation, and offshore energy infrastructure.
Beyonder chooses InterSearch Norway to satisfy its international human capital needs
There is no previous history of producing batteries in Norway, and Beyonder has had to recruit internationally to build up its current R&D organisation. For their continued growth, they have chosen InterSearch Norway as their partner in the search and selection of new employees.
Svein Kvernstuen, Founder and CEO of Beyonder says:
InterSearch Norway has been selected as our partner because of their strong international presence in key regions for R&D and battery production, and where the needed skills and experience to further complement our R&D department and the upcoming factory can be identified. Furthermore, having a strong local presence and track record in the recruitment of senior key personnel, we are confident InterSearch Norway will represent an important strategic partner in building our new venture.
The upcoming recruitment campaign will represent a mix of both local recruitments in addition to an international campaign moving highly skilled workers from abroad to come live and work in Stavanger.
Founded in 1992, and with offices in Stavanger and Oslo, InterSearch Norway is the Norwegian member of InterSearch Worldwide, a global alliance of executive search companies. With access to more than 600 senior consultants representing 90 offices in over 50 countries, InterSearch Norway is uniquely positioned to assist Beyonder with their international recruitment needs.
Project Manager with InterSearch Norway Runar Austrheim says:
Beyonder will represent a key partner for InterSearch Norway this year. As a Norwegian executive search firm, it will always be a priority for us to assist local companies in securing the key personnel needed to realise their long-term ambitions. With a traditionally strong interdependence towards the oil and gas sector, we now have a clear strategy supporting our goal of becoming the leading executive search provider within renewable energy, helping our local industry make the shift to a greener and more sustainable energy and storage production. In heading up the global initiative towards renewable energy on behalf of InterSearch Worldwide we are furthermore uniquely positioned to help our local partners with cross-border opportunities.
The Stavanger region proudly regards itself as the energy capital of Norway. To hold this status in the future, we need to make sure we have a robust local industry supporting sustainable and environmentally friendly energy production and storage. Beyonder, with its plans for local production of the next-generation Li-ion capacitors and supercapacitors for the heavy-duty industry, is an excellent fit in line with this ambition. We are very proud to partner up with Beyonder and are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.
