Grete Christoffersen has been appointed new CEO with the Executive Search and Consulting firm InterSearch Norway. Having already had her first week with the company Grete takes over from her predecessor Trond Hess whom after 10 years with the company has accepted the role as Vice President Commercial for Archer, an international oil services company.
“InterSearch Norway is growing and is represented by a wide range of skills and experience supporting the services we offer our clients. There are plenty of opportunities to be found in today’s market, and where our aim is to continue delivering efficient and quality orientated services to our customers. I am therefore proud and excited about stepping into this role, joining a team of highly skilled and motivated professionals who continue to create positive change through leadership, diversity, and technology with our customers”
says Grete Christoffersen, CEO of InterSearch Norway.
Grete has previous experience from the position as HR Manager with Schlumberger, CEO of Relocation Norway, in addition to having spent several years as a consultant and coach working with senior management primarily within the oil and gas, and maritime sectors. With her international background, professional studies in finance and HR, and experience with LEAN methodology she will represent InterSearch Norway with various consulting assignments, helping leaders to achieve their full potential, both on behalf of themselves and the companies they represent.
Grete has a Master’s in Economy and Administration (Siviløkonom) from Université Panthéon Assas in Paris, and a Master’s degree in HR from ESSEC Business School, also from Paris. Since 2019 she has been an Election Committee member with Econa in addition to be the author of “Leadership Snapshots”.
“It’s been 10 solid years with InterSearch Norway where I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished together. I believe our ability to meet the challenges we have faced head on, not always having the solution at hand to be one of our key strengths. The way we have done so as a team has made all the difference. Our international efforts, and the strong position InterSearch Norway now has within the InterSearch global alliance is something I am also proud to have been part of. I have known Grete for many years as an amazing consultant and person and wish her all the best on her new journey with InterSearch Norway”
says Trond Hess, former CEO.
Trond had his last day with the company on 30th April having ensured a seamless transition and hand-over of all running projects to appointed colleagues. Trond is however not leaving the company entirely as he will stay on as equity partner in addition to having accepted a seat with the board.
“We are very happy about Grete coming onboard and taking this journey with us. Her background will add new and exciting diversity to the skills we currently represent, putting us in a strong position for further growth and development.
I also want to thank Trond for all his efforts, having proven himself a tremendous asset to the firm for many years. Although not being part of our day to day operation I am thus equally excited about how he has accepted a role as a member of our board, continuing to be a part of our future journey”
says Ingvild Myhre, Chairwoman.
