TJ Deal promoted to practice leader at Charles Aris
International executive recruiting firm Charles Aris Inc. has announced the promotion of TJ Deal to practice leader. In his new role, Deal will help lead the firm’s industry-leading Strategy & Corporate Development practice, where he focuses on finding and attracting senior-level corporate development talent for opportunities within the Tech, Media, & Telecom (TMT) and Industrial sectors.
Practice Leader
Deal joined Charles Aris in November 2015 and leveraged his skills to thrive in the performance-driven environment. He has worked his way up the ranks, completing 48 search projects for A-level talent en route to four promotions in four years.

In the practice leader role, Deal will continue to partner with Charles Aris vice president Steven Stewart, who leads the firm’s [Tech, Media and Telecom] industry practice. Deal and Stewart have partnered together since Deal’s time as an associate.

Deal earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Charles Aris, Deal worked as a director at Arbor Supply, a brokerage firm that facilitates the distribution of nonfood items to Military Commissaries.
